About
Early Childhood, Youth + Teens Programs includes children’s sports classes such as hockey, basketball, fencing, and pickleball. The program also includes children’s swim programs with group swim classes for every age and stage, teen programs that involve ways to volunteer, lead, learn, and play, and Winter Melodies with Little Maestros: Music, Lunch & Play. Maccabi Games 15U Boys Baseball Tryouts are offered as part of an Olympic-style event for Jewish teens.
• Schedule: Building hours include Sunday 7:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–10:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am–5:30 pm, and Saturday 7:00 am–6:00 pm; the Health + Wellness Center, including the sauna and steam room, closes 15 minutes before the building closes.
The program states the mission: “Within and beyond our walls, wherever you are from, whoever you love, however you identify, whatever makes you who you are, you are welcomed here.” Community involvement includes the Nikki Schwartz Memorial Community Needs Bank and UJA Federation New York.
