Hofstra Summer Camps offers a wide range of activities, including Advanced Computer Hardware Construction Trade Academy, Developing Apps for iOS and Android, Digital Music & Audio Technology, Esports, JavaScript and Modern Web Development, and Multi-Media Block Coding. Campers can also take part in Karate, Sports Performance, Ultimate Board Game Inventors, VGX: Fortnite Game Design, Game Modding Remix, Coding Masterclass, and Gifted Camp, as well as creative options like Cross Sensory Art, Design and Craft Lab, Interactive Art and Animation Zone, LIHSA Junior Dance Academy, and LIHSA Junior Musical Theatre Camp. Additional options include Introduction to Carpentry, Woodworking Projects, Adventures in Science, Crime Lab to Command Center, Career Exploration, Outdoor Exploration Sampler, Flag Football (Featuring 3rd & Ten), Pickleball, and Water Adventure.

• Schedule: Camp hours are 9 a.m.–4 p.m., with four sessions offered: Session 1 (June 29–July 10), Session 2 (July 13–July 24), Session 3 (July 27–August 7), and Session 4 (August 10–August 14).

Hofstra Summer Camps states the mission “Pride in Every Step. Purpose in Every Summer. Every Hofstra camper learns more than a skill. They discover what it means to challenge themselves, support others, and grow with purpose.” The program notes community partners including Optimum, Stretch Lab, and 3rd & Ten Flag Football. Hofstra is a nationally ranked private university, is the only university to have hosted three consecutive U.S. presidential debates (2008, 2012, and 2016), and is one of three institutions in the NYC metro area with accredited schools of law, medicine, and engineering.

Hofstra Summer Camps lists several unique features, including Summer Camp 2026 Information Sessions on Sunday, March 1 from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. and Summer Camp 2026 Guided Tours on Wednesday, February 18 from 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m., with on-site registration, a kids activity corner, a bounce house, and visits from Hofstra’s Spirit Support squad. The program notes that every program is designed to help campers learn, lead, and belong and invites families to “Explore a summer of discovery, creativity, and connection.” Employment applications are available for paid positions for those entering 12th grade or older, and volunteer applications are available for those 15 or older.

For medication, Hofstra Summer Camps requires a Medication Request Form filled out by the child’s physician, which must be sent to the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off. Medication must be in the original container, including the label with the camper’s name, dosage, and the prescriber’s name, and Medication Drop Off Days are listed as TBA.
