Summer Day Camp gives children time to explore outdoors, play, climb, run, and engage their senses. The program includes chances to explore the wonders of nature as part of the camp experience.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Weekly, June 23 – August 14
Audubon Community Nature Center states that its mission is to build and nurture connections between people and nature by providing positive outdoor experiences, chances to learn about and understand the natural world, and knowledge to act in environmentally responsible ways. The organization notes that programs and events are held year-round, and that many events, programs, and workshops include an outdoor component. It also notes that it was voted Best Chautauqua County Destination. Audubon Community Partners make a significant financial contribution each year because they believe that every child deserves the opportunity to have a real and healthy connection to nature. The Nature Center offers free admission for SNAP/EBT and Arts Access cardholders, free admission for all on Sundays, and free access to grounds and outdoor exhibits daily, year round, from dawn to dusk.
