Badger Day Camp

Badger Day Camp offers daily hot lunch, towel service, sports activities, world class swim instruction, a nature program, art & crafts, and yoga. It operates for approximately eight consecutive weeks throughout the summer, with 4 week, 6 week, or 8 week options. The camp provides transportation for campers, with morning transportation available for an additional fee for Mini Day and transportation available for an additional fee for Full Day.

Programs

• Mini Day — pre-k aged children · 5 days a week from 9am-2pm · Includes lunch, a second swim session daily, and morning transportation for an additional fee. Campers must be picked up by a parent/guardian at 2:15pm.
• Full Day — Those entering kindergarten and above (through 12 years old) · Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm · Campers are grouped by gender and what grade they are entering into. Snack, hot lunch, and ice cream are provided. Transportation is available for an additional fee.
• CIT Program — 13 & 14 years old · For campers who aren't quite ready to leave the camp experience behind them, but aren't quite old enough to work at camp.
• Leadership Program — 15 year olds · The final stage of a camper's experience at Badger. It allows them to still be part of the camp experience while helping prepare them for the next stage of young adulthood.

About the provider

For more than 80 years, Badger has offered a wide variety of quality programs for children. It is the only Westchester Day Camp to partner with SwimAmerica, which is nationally certified and was created in 1988 by the American Swimming Coaching Association.

The camp provides daily hot lunch, towel service, an exceptional counselor to camper ratio, sports activities, world class swim instruction, a nature program, art & crafts, and yoga. Pre-K programs have a camper-to-counselor ratio of no more than 3:1. Full Day campers are grouped by gender and grade entering. Pre-K campers swim with USA Coaches and Swim America certified individuals. Mini Day campers are picked up at 2:15pm by a parent or guardian.
