The STEM Alliance STEM Education & Equity Programs specialize in delivering high quality after-school STEM education programs that follow Next Generation Science Standards. The programs also include STEM enrichment offerings for other summer camps and providers, and they are part of a broader network of learning opportunities that The STEM Alliance is creating to inspire and grow the next generation of STEM leaders.
• Price: Our STEM Education & Equity fund allows us to partner with organizations that reach underserved populations, bringing our programs to their sites free of charge or at a reduced rate.
Since 2017, The STEM Alliance has been the lead administrator for Co-Op Summer Enrichment, a summer slide intervention program for the Mamaroneck Union Free School District, and it also runs STEM enrichment programs for other summer camps and providers. The organization’s mission is to bridge systemic gaps to provide equal access to science, technology, engineering and math learning resources with the goal of empowering communities, inspiring innovation and creating opportunity for all. The STEM Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing STEM education and enrichment initiatives and to ensuring equal access to STEM learning opportunities to all. Through strategic partnerships across Westchester County and beyond, it offers wrap-around digital inclusion programs that connect economically fragile individuals to free tech skills training classes and free or low cost computer devices and internet access, including through its Digital Pathways initiative, which is designed to bridge the digital divide. The organization reports that more than 5,000 clients have been served since 2020, and its activities are designed to enhance and expand STEM awareness and educational offerings, obtain grants to support STEM education and professional development, promote connections between STEM education and career opportunities, and create a strong network of STEM educators, professionals, and other nonprofit partners to increase its impact.
