Colonie Youth Center

Colonie Youth Center offers before- and after-school programs, Universal Pre-K, daycare for children ages 18 months to 5 years, summer day camps, vacation camps, and emergency childcare. School-age children can attend programs at 13 locations in the North and South Colonie school districts, and full-time summer care is available during July and August.

• Before & After-School Programs — school-age children · Safe and affordable before-school and after-school programs at 13 locations in the North and South Colonie school districts and at the home office at 15 Avis Drive in Latham.
• Universal Pre-K — UPK programming at the administrative site located in Latham.
• Daycare — 18 months – 5 years · Operates Little Sprouts Daycare Center for Albany County employees.
• Summer Day Camps — Full-time summer care is available during July and August in both districts.

About the provider

Colonie Youth Center was started in 1965. Its mission is to provide programs and services to enhance the living experience of all people in the greater Capital Region. The organization serves more than 7,000 members of all ages from Capital Region cities and towns.

The office will close on holidays and during inclement weather. When the North and South Colonie School Districts close, the office will also close. The office will close at 1pm on Fridays between July 10 and August 28.
