Westchester Sandbox Theatre

Westchester Sandbox Theatre offers performing opportunities through productions, acting classes, shows, camps, and classes. Participants rehearse with a fun, professional staff and perform in a local theater with sets, costumes, and lights. The program includes education in the arts for all ages and organizes activities into four groups called Juniors, Kids, Tweens, and Teens.

The Westchester Sandbox Theatre was opened in November of 2008 and is owned and operated by Daniel Ferrante and Jason Summers. Its mission is to embrace every child and teenager and help them to find their true potential not only as performers but as confident and expressive people as well. The Sandbox operates year-round, offering shows, camps, and classes to young performers from kindergarten through high school and maintains a positive, comfortable, and constructive environment for children of all ages to grow as actors and as people. The program is a Best of Westchester Winner for 2012, 2017, and 2020 and is about to embark on its eighteenth year as part of its community.
