Westchester Sandbox Theatre

Westchester Sandbox Theatre offers Sandbox Tykes, a musical theatre class for ages 3-5 with the Fall 2026 theme Storyland Adventures. It also offers Acting For Kids with the Fall 2026 theme Clowning Around, Acting and Improvisation with the Fall 2026 theme Getting Into Character, Serious Acting for Serious Teens with monologues and scene study, and Summer Theatre Camps @ Sandbox Studios.

• Acting For Kids — 6-9 · Sundays, 10:00am-11:00am; Fall 2026 Session: September 27 - December 13 (10 sessions / no classes October 11 or November 29) · $300 · Fall 2026 theme: Clowning Around. Introduction to acting class.
• Acting and Improvisation — 10-13 · Sundays, 11:00am-12:30pm; Fall 2026 Session: September 27 - December 13 (10 sessions / no classes October 11 or November 29) · $395 · Fall 2026 theme: Getting Into Character.
• Serious Acting for Serious Teens — 14-17 · Mondays, 7:30pm-9:00pm; Fall 2026 Session: October 19 - December 21 (10 sessions) · $395 · Fall 2026: Monologues and scene study. Open to high school actors looking for a college-level acting class.
• Summer Theatre Camps @ Sandbox Studios — 7-11; 10-14; 5-10; 5-8; 8-12 · Monday-Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm; after care hour until 4pm

About the provider

Westchester Sandbox Theatre opened in November 2008 and is about to begin its eighteenth year. It is owned and operated by Daniel Ferrante and Jason Summers, and Artistic Director Jason Summers leads the Tykes and leads classes. Its mission is to embrace every child and teenager and help them find their true potential as performers and as confident and expressive people. The program has been named Best of Westchester Winner in 2012, 2017, and 2020, and it partners with local schools to bring theater and arts programming directly into classrooms.

No refunds will be offered for patron cancellation. For summer camps, a $225 non-refundable deposit is required at registration and the full camp balance is due two weeks before camp begins.
