Camp Kennybrook is a traditional overnight summer camp that offers athletics, waterfront activities, outdoor adventure, creative arts, performing arts, and special programs. The program also offers private athletic lessons, trips out west for older campers, and a “Kennybrook Kindness” initiative where campers learn about and practice community-wide kindness.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: Flexible 2-week, 3.5-week, and 7-week sessions
Camp Kennybrook is family owned, family run, and co-ed, and operates as a 100% nut-free environment. Approximately 300 campers ages 6–16 and 125 staff members attend each summer, and about 85% of campers return each year. Campers and staff came from 15 states and 12 countries last year. The staff includes long-term adult educators and college-age leaders, and many counselors are former Camp Kennybrook campers. The camp has been run for over 55 years with a focus on the individual needs, interests, and passions of each camper, described by its mission as being “all for one.”
The camp highlights “Kennybrook Kindness” as a special initiative focused on community-wide kindness. Testimonials from campers and parents describe Camp Kennybrook as a place where campers make friends quickly, feel part of a big family, and often return summer after summer, with some campers later becoming counselors and group leaders.
