Hudson Country Montessori School

Hudson Country Montessori School offers Montessori education that uses Montessori classrooms and materials so students can work at their own pace. The program includes hands-on learning and project-based experiences, as well as Summer Camp programs, Enrichment Programs, and Physical Education. It includes programs for gifted, twice-exceptional, and all learners, with a focus on social-emotional skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, and real-world opportunities.

Hudson Country Montessori School has two campuses, the Danbury, CT Campus and the New Rochelle, NY Campus. The New Rochelle campus offers programs from Toddler (18–36 months) through Middle School (6th–8th grade). The school lists accreditations under an “Accreditations” heading, and it has highly trained educators and highly-trained teachers. The Head of School is Mark Meyer. The school’s mission states that it guides children to discover their unique strengths, explore their passions, and grow into independent, self-directed learners in a nurturing and supportive environment, and that it values each child as an individual.
