About
A Cut Above (ACA) is an after-school program for scholars in grades K–8 that includes personal and social development, academic support, health and wellness, STEM enrichments, arts enrichments, and community service. The program offers workshops in dance, music production, vocal music, STEAM, athletics, literature, and entrepreneurship, along with community service opportunities, teen leadership groups, annual college tours, and annual bonding retreats in New York and New Jersey. Scholars can also take part in Character Development workshops, trips, athletics, wellness activities with Healthy Harlem, and support for transitioning to middle and high school, as well as homework assistance from the Academic Support Unit, subject-based tutoring, and IEP support.
