Dance Theatre of Harlem School

Dance Theatre of Harlem School offers Drop-In Classes, Saturday Youth Drop-In Classes, Summer Intensives, and a Summer Minis Dance Camp. These programs take place at the Dance Theatre of Harlem School and are part of the broader activities of Dance Theatre of Harlem.

The school is part of Dance Theatre of Harlem, whose mission is to present a multicultural ballet company performing demanding repertory at a high level of quality, maintain a school that trains young people in classical ballet and allied arts, and provide arts education, community outreach programs, and positive role models for all. The organization highlights two named features, Dancing Through Barriers® and Classically American™. The leadership team for Dance Theatre of Harlem School includes Tai Jimenez as Director; Augustus van Heerden as Associate Director, Lower/Upper School; Rachel Afi Sekyi as Associate Director, Tendu Program; Danielle Thomas as Manager of Student Affairs; and Najeree Wallace as School Accountant.
