Penguin City Swim offers swimming lessons, including private, semi-private, and group swim lessons, as well as aqua-tot classes, swim team clinics, and an Adult swim program. The program accepts students of all ages and abilities, with options for beginners and experienced swimmers from 6 months up to adults. Classes can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes long, and include Water Babies sessions, small group lessons, semi-private lessons, private lessons, and adult lessons.

• Schedule: Lessons offered 7 days a week; semesters range from 10–14 weeks, with Summer divided into two 4-week semesters
• Price: Water Babies: 30 minutes - $57. Small Group Lessons (1:4 ratio): 30 minutes - $52; 45 minutes - $77. Semi-Private Lessons: 30 minutes - $72; 45 minutes - $98. Private Lessons: 30 minutes - $93; 45 minutes - $134; 60 minutes - $165. Adult Lessons: 45 minutes (Small Group) - $77; 45 minutes (Private) - $134; 60 minutes (Private) - $165.
Penguin City Swim states that its mission is to positively impact students' self-esteem, physical development, and overall confidence both in and out of the water by providing life-saving water safety skills and swim instruction in a fun, relaxed environment. The program notes that safety is prioritized for all levels and all ages from 6 months up to adult. The pools used in the program are recreational pools kept at a temperature of 86 degrees.
The Swim Team Clinic is led by a team that includes Division 1 scholarship winners, university-level swim team coaches, and award-winning swim instructors, and instructors teach fundamentals and coach swimmers to a level where they are able to join a swim team, become a certified lifeguard, and/or become a certified swim instructor. The Adult swim program teaches all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Penguin City Swim reports over 200 5-star reviews.
Craig Weingard is the Owner of Penguin City Swim, a Certified Pool Operator, and Aquatics Director. Craig Weingard has provided aquatics operations in New York City for OASIS Day Camp at NYSC, Camp Keshet at Park Avenue Synagogue, Lyceum Kennedy French American School, Camp Gan Israel at the Moise Safra Center, as well as in Vacation Village and the Camp in the Catskills in upstate New York. Craig Weingard has also provided Physical Education programming for Lycée Français De New York, The École - French American Bilingual School in New York, and Ramaz Middle School, as well as Swim Team programming for Ramaz Upper School and after school programming for Ramaz Lower School.
Families are asked to bring a bathing suit, goggles, a towel, and a lock for the lockers. For students who are 2 years and younger, or who have not yet been potty trained, the child wears a Happy Nappy Swim Diaper.
