About
Stagebound Vocal Intensive includes SPI Workshops, Seminars, Masterclasses, and Intensives, all under the Stagebound name. The program also includes a final showcase performance, and participants may request a digital copy of this performance for an online portfolio. Participants work in fully-equipped rehearsal spaces each day leading up to the showcase performance.
Stagebound, Inc., was founded by Karen Parks in 2002 as a launching pad for performers desiring the opportunity to understand and implement the professional “workings” of the business. Registration for Stagebound courses is by acceptance only, and all participants must apply to secure a spot in the SPI Workshops, Seminars, Masterclasses, or Intensives. Stagebound, Inc., presents, in partnership with NATS-LA (National Association of Teachers of Singing – Los Angeles), In Her Key at the historic Ebell of Los Angeles, a cultural venue that centers its programming around women’s stories, arts, and education.
