YMCA of Greater New York Summer Camps offer activities such as Big Messy Art, painting, clay sculpting, and larger-than-life mural projects, along with crafts, sports, games, epic outdoor fun, science experiments, and puzzles. Campers can join Adventure Camps new for 2026, including Zookeepers Camp to explore the zoos of NYC, Ready Camper One to build games, Basketball Academy, Soccer Academy, Swim & STEM Camp with STEM challenges and water games in the pool, and Swim & Art with pool time and artistic expression. The program also includes Basketball Academy for young athletes passionate about basketball and Soccer Academy led by certified U.S. Soccer Foundation (USSF) coach-mentors.

• Schedule: Summer camp starts on June 29 and runs in two-week sessions through August 21, 2026
• Price: Fees for YMCA camps vary depending on branch and type of camp. YMCA of Greater New York members receive discounted member pricing and priority registration for camps. Receive 10% off by paying the camp balance by April 18, 2026. All siblings of the first child registered at full price receive a 10% discount. Discounts cannot be combined and are available only on the cost of camps per session, not on extended day or transportation fees.

Summer camp sessions for 2026 run in two-week blocks: Session 1 from June 29 to July 10, Session 2 from July 13 to July 24, Session 3 from July 27 to August 7, and Session 4 from August 10 to August 21. All YMCA of Greater New York Camps are licensed by the NYC Department of Health and backed by the American Camp Association. Financial assistance is awarded based on the family’s annual income, and no family is ever turned away because of an inability to pay, with families able to download a financial assistance application and bring it to their branch to explore scholarship options.
