CM Performing Arts Center Education & Community Programs

CM Performing Arts Center Education & Community Programs offers professional instruction in acting, dance, music, and technical theatre for all ages and skill levels. The program includes customized field trips, student matinees, and curriculum-aligned arts education experiences. Volunteer actors, singers, and musicians perform Journey Cross & Crucifixion, a live reenactment of the Stations of the Cross through this program.

• Schedule: Box Office Hours Monday–Friday 10am–6pm; Saturdays 10am–3pm; Sundays closed except on show days, with the box office opening two hours before showtime.

The mission of CM Performing Arts Center Education & Community Programs is stated as “Inspiring Curiosity, Confidence, and Creative Expression.” For over 30 years, Journey Cross & Crucifixion has been presented in churches and schools across Long Island, and the 2026 Lent Season will mark their 39th year of presenting this production. The program notes that 0+ schools partner with CM Performing Arts Center, 0+ students are reached annually through education programs, and 0+ classes and workshops are offered each year. CM Performing Arts Center has been recognized as a BEST OF LONG ISLAND WINNER 2026 for BEST THEATRE ARTS CENTER and BEST X ACCOUNT, and as a winner of 14 Broadway World Regional Awards including FAVORITE LOCAL THEATRE.
