CM Performing Arts Center Education & Community Programs offers professional instruction in acting, dance, music, and technical theatre for all ages and skill levels. The program also offers customized field trips, student matinees, and curriculum-aligned arts education experiences.
• Schedule: Box Office Hours Monday–Friday 10am–6pm; Saturdays 10am–3pm; Sundays closed except on show days; the box office opens two hours before showtime.
Education & Community Programs at CM Performing Arts Center operates with the mission statement: “Education & Community Programs: Inspiring Curiosity, Confidence, and Creative Expression.” The organization has received recognition as a Best of Long Island Winner 2026 for Best Theatre Arts Center and Best X Account, and it has won 14 Broadway World Regional Awards including Favorite Local Theatre. For over 30 years, Journey Cross & Crucifixion has been presented in churches and schools across Long Island, and the 2027 Lent Season will mark the 40th year of presenting this production. Journey Cross & Crucifixion is a live reenactment of the Stations of the Cross that combines music, singing, and liturgical dance, and it features volunteer actors, singers, and musicians. CM Gems members receive priority access, discounts, donor benefits, and other listed perks.
