Ripken Nationals is a baseball tournament program that includes pool play games, bracket play games, and a single-elimination playoff bracket. Teams compete in tournaments that feature at least three pool play games, followed by bracket play for qualifying teams.

The program includes a Ripken National Championship where 16 of the nation’s top teams compete for the title of Ripken National Champions. The National Championship features a 4-game minimum with three pool play games, with teams placed in four-team pools and the top seed from each pool advancing to a single-elimination playoff bracket. The winner of the single-elimination playoff receives an automatic free bid to the Ripken National Championship held June 30 - July 5. Championship games are nationally televised on CBS Sports, bracket play games are nationally broadcast, and pool play games are streamed on GameChanger, which is also used for tournament stat-keeping. Players receive an official National Championship player gear package, National Championship player rings and participant gifts, and All-Tournament Team and MVP awards, along with other tournament awards. Team bunkhouse and meals are provided, and umpires and game balls are provided for games.
According to Ripken Baseball’s mission statement, the organization aims to provide ballplayers with an experience similar to what its founders had in the Big Leagues, and to provide players, coaches, and families with experiences and lifelong memories connected to the game. The program notes that, after more than 20 years of tournaments, it is “making history” with this National Championship format. Community partner locations connected to the program include Sports Force Parks, Diamond Nation, and Rocker B Ranch.
