Tioga County Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national nonprofit that serves kids and teens through a network of more than 5,500 local Clubs. The organization offers evidence-based programs focused on academic success, leadership skills, and health and wellness, along with healthy meals and snacks. Clubs provide safe spaces with caring mentors and trained staff who guide, coach, and motivate kids and teens.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America reaches more than 4 million children and youth each year across the United States, Native lands, and military installations. For more than a century, Boys & Girls Clubs have supported young people during critical out-of-school hours by creating environments where they can learn, grow, and build positive relationships. According to BGCA youth outcome data, 92% of Club teens expect to graduate from high school and 81% have plans to complete some kind of post-secondary education. The same data show that 1 in 5 regularly attending teen members volunteer once a month in their school, neighborhood, or community, 86% of Club youth said they can stand up for what is right, and 88% reported that as a leader, they make sure everyone feels important. Major League Baseball designated Boys & Girls Clubs of America as an official charitable partner in 1997.
