Camp Herrlich

Camp Herrlich offers a wide range of activities, including animal interactions, archery, arts and crafts, baseball, basketball, boating, fishing, soccer, volleyball, and gardening. Campers can take part in dance and theater, music, DJ parties, talent shows, fashion shows, magic forest experiences, and evening activities such as carnivals, color war, color run, and special events. The program also includes cooking, journalism and design, nature and pond ecology, outdoor education, water games, a waterfront with a water trampoline, gaga, dodgeball, kickball, water games, swingset play, swing crossing, canteen visits, face paint, group shots, kids and staff fun and games, and weekly theme events.

Camp Herrlich has over 100 years of providing programming for children and families. Camp Wilbur Herrlich operates a dynamic learning and leadership center for all ages by providing recreational and educational programs to optimize personal and spiritual growth and foster cultural harmony to enrich communities and quality of life. Its School Age Child Care Programs are described as award winning. People participate in Camp Herrlich programs from many areas, including the Carmel, Patterson, and Brewster area, the five boroughs of New York City, retreat groups from Long Island, and outdoor education groups from various places.
