New Era Creative Space Programs

New Era Creative Space Programs include activities in theater, digital art, mixed media, leadership, and character building. The programs also offer Engineering is Fun!, which invites students to explore robotics, AI, building, forensics, and creative technology through interactive, hands-on experiences, as well as a Monthly Book Club. New Era Creative Space presents two performances, “Show Way” and “Change Reaction.”

• Schedule: Engineering is Fun! on March 13 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm; Monthly Book Club on the 4th Monday of each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm; “Show Way” and “Change Reaction” on February 13 and 14 at various show times

Since 2013, New Era Creative Space has been empowering young people to explore their innate capabilities and engage in social action. The mission of New Era Creative Space is “Inspiring Stronger Communities Through Creative Programs,” offering creative and innovative programs that are financially accessible to all. In 2024, New Era Creative Space offered 69 programs, engaged 525 people in programs, and provided $206K in subsidies, discounts, and scholarships. NECS provides experiential learning experiences that empower young people to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively, and highlights themes such as the character-building power of service and giving and the transformative power of the arts. Engineering is Fun! is brought to students by New Era Creative Space and Peekskill Girl Scouts, and families are invited to consider partnering with NECS to support hundreds of youth in Peekskill and neighboring communities.
