Kids Summer Fishing Adventures

Kids Summer Fishing Adventures offers a weekly fishing camp where kids learn to fish and take part in fishing trips. The program includes options for weekly fishing camp sessions as well as Day Tripper spots for single-day participation. All trips use fishing equipment and bait that are included at no extra charge, and no fishing licenses are required.

The program runs on The Angler Fleet vessels, which include Angler V, Angler VI, Angler VII, and a 25’ Parker sport cabin, operating on the calm, sheltered waters of Long Island Sound. Space is limited to 15 kids per weekly session, and if all 15 spots are not filled, the camp is opened to Day Trippers. If a reserved weekly session spot is filled after a child cannot attend, a refund or makeup day is provided, and as a small business they are unable to offer refunds without having the spot filled. The Angler Fleet is a family-friendly business that specializes in private charters and open boat fishing, including half day fishing trips, kids summer camp, and summer fireworks cruises. The Angler Fleet was created 2 decades ago by Captain Ken, and its leadership team includes Kenny Schmitt (owner), Kenny Schmidt (Captain), and Steve Harrington (Skipper). Angler V is a 50-foot, Coast Guard inspected vessel, and Angler VI is a 65-foot, Coast Guard inspected vessel. Free parking is available onsite, and multiple vessels are used to fit different group sizes and needs.
