Port Washington Soccer Club Programs offers Intramural Soccer (P-Dub Kickers - U4-U6), U7/U8 Diamond League, U8 Select Pre-Travel, Intramural Plus Soccer (U9-U13), Travel Soccer (U9+), Wintermurals, Winter Diamond League, Clinics/Camps, Private Training, and Summer Camps. The activities include fun drills, small-sided games, league games, weekday practices, intertown festivals, indoor winter training, fast-paced 30 minute 4v4 or 3v3 matches, goalkeeping, ball mastery, goal scoring/finishing, speed/agility, private training with the Jigs Soccer School training staff, and summer soccer camp.

Programs

• Intramural Soccer (P-Dub Kickers - U4-U6) — U4-U6 · Entry-level program for youngest players; fun drills and small-sided games in a social, athletic environment.
• U7/U8 Diamond League — U7-U8 · Saturdays, weekday practices · League games, weekday practices, and opportunities to participate in intertown festivals several times per season.
• U8 Select Pre-Travel — U8 · Select group opportunity for U8 players to participate on a pre-travel team; selections typically made from spring U7 intramural program.
• Intramural Plus Soccer (U9-U13) — U9-U13 · Continuation of the recreational travel program and a more relaxed alternative to Travel Soccer for 4th through 9th graders, including beginners.
• Travel Soccer (U9+) — U9+ · Tryout-based competitive program for committed players; the club typically fields 30+ teams across boys and girls age groups.
• Wintermurals — U4-U13 · Indoor winter training in local school gyms.
• Winter Diamond League — Each week · Indoor winter option for more competitive players, featuring a fast-paced 30 minute 4v4 or 3v3 match.
• Clinics/Camps — boys and girls of all ages · Clinics focused on goalkeeping, ball mastery, goal scoring/finishing, and speed/agility; led by an elite trainer in a small group setting.
• Private Training — Private training available with the Jigs Soccer School training staff.
• Summer Camps — all ages and ability levels · Jigs Summer Soccer Camp provides a fun atmosphere for players to develop their skills.

About the provider

Port Washington Soccer Club was established in 1975. The Director of Coaching is Gerneil "Jigsy" Lorne. The club’s mission is to provide the Port Washington, NY community youth with a soccer experience that allows each player to maximize their own individual potential. It provides scholarships to over 100 players each year and is a 100% volunteer-run organization.

Scholarships in the form of discounted registration fees are available for families in need. The Travel Soccer program is tryout-based, with tryouts held in the spring for the following school year.
