SOULSHINE Art Studio

SOULSHINE Art Studio offers art classes for children and adults, along with workshops, art camp, birthday parties, ladies nights, Girl Scout troops, book clubs, creative nights, retreats, and walk-in creative activities. The studio also offers a free art workshop for children, and artwork and paintings are for sale in the shop. Paint, glass, wood, paper, gold leaf, markers, words and embellishments are available in the studio, along with music, and workshops and classes are offered in a supportive environment full of creativity and inspiration.

SOULSHINE Art Studio is owned by Dvora Troshane (also known as Dara Troshane). Fifteen years ago, she became a founding board member and the Art Director of Discover The Smile Foundation, a not-for-profit benefitting children’s hospitals, through which she has custom designed and created children’s art galleries for many New York hospitals including Schneider’s, North Shore-LIJ, Good Samaritan’s and NYU Medical Center. She currently serves on the board of The Gratitude House and Residents Forward. In 2016, she traveled to the mountains of Chefchaouen, Morocco and organized a free art workshop for children there who had little or no exposure to art.

SOULSHINE states that it is dedicated to providing a space for children and adults to dream, be inspired and create art that makes their soul shine bright with a happy heart filled with love. The studio offers inspirational art, newsletters for adults, and newsletters for children’s workshops, classes and camps. Dvora Troshane also organizes inspiring, adventurous, creative and transformational art and wellness retreats for women in locations including the United States, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, France and Greece, and the studio offers family retreats and workshops for mothers and daughters. Off-site events outside the studio are also offered.
