The Cooking Lab Kids & Teens Cooking Classes offers hands-on cooking classes where kids and teens prepare food themselves. Classes focus on fundamental cooking skills, seasonal dishes, and ethnic flavors.

The Cooking Lab Kids & Teens Cooking Classes is part of The Cooking Lab, which was founded by Port Washington residents Michelle Capobianco and Mathieu Lanfant. Chef-owner Mathieu Lanfant is a classically trained French chef from the Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française in Paris. Chef-owner Michelle Capobianco is a former corporate lawyer turned private chef and cooking instructor who specializes in regional Italian cuisine and has trained in kitchens throughout Italy. Since 2017, Michelle has led culinary tours in the region of Abruzzo, Italy. The Cooking Lab is designed to inspire creativity and confidence in the kitchen in home cooks of all ages.
