World Taekwondo Academy

World Taekwondo Academy offers Little Tigers for children ages 4 and 5, Children Classes, Teens and Adults, Family Classes, Birthday Parties, and Summer Camp. The program teaches Taekwondo, board breaking, and a special demo, and its classes are taught both online and live streamed through Zoom.

• Little Tigers — children ages 4 and 5 · Little Tigers gain greater focus and self-control.
• Children Classes — children · Children gain focus, self-confidence, and respect while learning Taekwondo in a fun, active setting.
• Teens and Adults — teens and adults · Teens and adults improve their physical fitness and relieve stress in a positive, encouraging environment.
• Family Classes — families · Families spend quality time together in a fun activity everyone can participate in and enjoy.
• Summer Camp — kids · A fun, safe, and educational summer camp for kids in the Port Washington, Manhasset, and Roslyn area.

At a glance

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• General schedule: All classes will be taught both online and live streamed through Zoom. Beginner children (6-11 years old) train during the white/yellow belt class times. Beginner adults may attend any adult class. All 3-5 years old students train during the Little Tigers class. Fall/Winter schedule starting Sep 1st, 2026.
• Facility hours: Monday to Thursday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Friday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Sunday: CLOSED

About the provider

World Taekwondo Academy states that it is committed to teaching the highest quality martial arts in an atmosphere of positive energy and respect. It says its goal is to positively touch the lives of as many people as possible through the martial art of Taekwondo. The facility has a large training area with a matted floor, and parents and friends are welcome to watch students as they take class. The program says no experience is necessary, that it teaches everything step-by-step, that a free uniform is included, and that instructors are patient and enthusiastic.
