Ramapo for Children

Ramapo for Children offers several programs, including Camp Ramapo, Ramapo Day Camp, the Staff Assistant Experience, Ramapo Retreats, and School-Age Child Care. Camp Ramapo is a residential summer camp for young people with diverse abilities, and Ramapo Day Camp is a summer day program for Hudson Valley youth. The organization also runs a residential transitional program for neurodivergent young adults, short-term adventure-based retreats for groups, and a before- and after-school program at Chancellor Livingston Elementary School in Rhinebeck.

Ramapo for Children states that its work is built on the belief that all young people want to learn, to feel valued, and to experience success. The Ramapo Approach gives adults a layered set of strategies and techniques that meet children's needs, promote positive behavior, and foster social and emotional skill development. Ramapo helps adults create environments that support learning and success for young people through direct-service programs and professional development for schools, community organizations, and youth-serving agencies across the region. Ramapo Retreats provide immersive community-building group experiences.
