About
Rome's Best Summer Camp includes outdoor sports, hip-hop dance, karate-based activities, movement games, arts and crafts, real karate, park visits, and field trips. The program uses staff-led, minute-by-minute programmed days filled with movement-based activities and no screentime, and all kids are always included.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Early Drop Off & Late Pickup available; Early Drop Off & Late Pickup was designed by working parents for working parents, with drop off and pickup times that work for families.
The camp takes place in a dedicated, purpose-built facility where kids can climb, jump, swing, and play in what is described as the coolest place in Rome. Programmed activities are led by caring, trained, high-energy staff, and safety is stated as the number one priority, from staff training to daily procedures to how play happens in the facility. The program has a modern outlook with a focus on freedom through structure, personal responsibility with caring interaction, and movement over sedentary activities, and it is specifically structured to bring out the best in each child. It also focuses on life skills such as communication, teamwork, and empathy, along with physical skills such as proprioception, balance, and agility, and aims to be a place where kids belong and know they are valued members of the program and part of the team.
The stated goals for Rome's Best Summer Camp campers match the stated goals of parents: confidence, self-esteem, and healthy habits for life. The program notes that children are surrounded by peers and families with the same values and priorities, and that they play together, build friendships, and make memories summer after summer. One parent shared that their 6-year-old daughter attended Rome’s Best Summer Camp, came home each day with stories about fun activities, learned new games and dances, played outdoors, took field trips, made many new friends, and that the experience helped her come out of her shell and grow in her social skills.
