Buckley Day Camp offers activities including soccer, sports, arts, and workshops. Campers take part in swimming, instructional swim, and other aquatics, and can also experience outdoor options such as a 660ft zip line and other outdoor activities. The program includes enrichment experiences and special events as part of its 30+ distinct program areas and activities.
• Ages: 1–16 years old
For over 40 years Buckley Day Camp has been a premier option for Long Island families. The camp has 4 heated, professionally maintained pools and extensive indoor and outdoor facilities suitable for different kinds of weather. Campers receive daily instruction from trained and certified aquatics staff as part of an instructional swim program, and the camp is ACA accredited. The program includes a Parent & Child Program for ages 18–30 months, Junior Camp for children entering nursery through kindergarten, Intermediate Camp for children entering 1st–4th grades, Senior Camp for children entering 5th–7th grades, Teen Camp for those entering 8th–9th grades, and a CIT Camp for those entering 10th–11th grades. The Teen Program includes weekly trips around Long Island and New York City, and the CIT program gives teens the ability to gain work experience. Buckley Day Camp states that it believes camp provides children the opportunity to learn life skills in a fun and nurturing environment. Tours are available seven days a week, scheduled around families’ availability.
