Saugerties Ballet Center Camps and Classes

Saugerties Ballet Center Camps and Classes offers Summer Dance Camp with lyrical, creative movement, ballet, choreography, daily crafts, and a Thursday demonstration. It also offers Summer Dance Intensive with intensive ballet training, lyrical, jazz, and musical theatre in the afternoon, plus Camp for the Little Ones 1 and 2 with creative movement, ballet, yoga, games, and crafts. Summer Classes include Children's Ballet, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Adult Ballet, and Tap/Jazz Level 1 and 2.

Programs

• Summer Dance Camp — 8-11 year olds · July 6-July 9, 2026, 9:00am-3:00pm · $200 · Includes lyrical, creative movement, ballet, choreography, daily crafts, and a Thursday demonstration. Performance at the Saugerties Stallions game is encouraged but not required.
• Summer Dance Intensive — 12-14 year olds · July 6-July 9, 2026, 9:00am-3:00pm · $225 · Intensive ballet training with lyrical, jazz, and musical theatre in the afternoon. Performance at the Stallions game is encouraged but not required.
• Camp for the Little Ones 1 — 3-5 year olds · August 10-August 14, 2026, 9:00am-12:00pm · $180 · Creative movement, ballet, yoga, crafts, and games. Parents are invited to watch a short demonstration on Friday.
• Camp for the Little Ones 2 — 5.5-7 year olds · August 17-August 21, 2026, 9:00am-12:00pm · $180 · Creative movement, ballet, games, and crafts. Parents are invited to attend a small demonstration on Friday.
• Summer Classes — Includes Children's Ballet, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Adult Ballet, and Tap/Jazz Level 1 and 2.
• Summer Pointe Intensives — Details still being determined; C level Ballet, Beg/Int Pointe and D level Ballet, Int/Adv Pointe are to be announced.

About the provider

The program’s mission is listed as joy of movement, poise, self discipline, creativity, a healthy mind esteem, and body. Students are invited to perform at the Saugerties Stallions game on July 9, and performance at the game is encouraged but not required for the Summer Dance Camp and Summer Dance Intensive.

All Summer Classes are subject to a minimum enrollment of 6 students. Discounts will be offered for families enrolling multiple children, and for students enrolling in multiple weeks of Dance Camp and Dance Intensive.
