Maple Ski Ridge Snow Sports School and Camps offers skiing and snowboarding through its snow sports school and camp programs. The program uses Burton Learn to Ride snowboards, which are specifically designed for beginners and include soft flexes for forgiving turn initiation, convex bases to help with steering and stopping, and beveled edges that create a catch-free ride. LTR snowboards are available in sizes ranging from 70cm for younger children to 160cm for adults, and Maple Ski Ridge has an easy to access and navigate lodge and slopes.

Since 1963, Maple Ski Ridge has been a family-owned and operated business. The program caters to skiers and riders of all ages and abilities and specializes in providing an excellent experience for beginners and nurturing a love for winter sports. Its focus on quality and affordable winter fun has continued for 60 years. Instructors at Maple Ski Ridge Snow Sports School and Camps are highly qualified and well-trained, with many holding certifications at multiple levels, and instructors who are not yet certified receive additional training from knowledgeable staff and are actively working towards certification. Maple Ski Ridge is recognized as a Registered Snowsports School of PSIA/AASI (The Professional Ski Instructors of America/American Association of Snowboard Instructors), and its Snow Sports School is an official Burton Learn to Ride Center. Maple Ski Ridge is a member of both NSAA (National Ski Areas Association) and SANY (Ski Areas of New York), organizations that promote best practices for maintenance, area operations, lifts, grooming, snowmaking, and safety among ski areas.
