SCOPE Enrichment Programs is offered through SCOPE Education Services and includes activities such as child care, preschool, elementary enrichment courses, outdoor education, and summer environmental adventure programs. The program also offers workshops and a speakers bureau for parents and students, as well as SAT Registration. Additional services connected to SCOPE Enrichment Programs include professional development, conferences, and training.
SCOPE Education Services was founded in 1964 as a private, not-for-profit organization. It is permanently chartered by the New York State Board of Regents to provide services to school districts in New York State. SCOPE offers services to local school districts that include programs for educators, parents, and children, and it provides services for employment, including courses required for New York State certification.
SCOPE is an approved sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE). It represents Long Island as a regional study council and is a member of the Study Council Alliance of New York State (SCANYS) and the National School Development Council (NSDC).
