About

Summer STEAM Camps include hands-on sessions where participants sketch, build, and test their own eco-friendly structures. Campers study animals, plants, and natural systems to inspire sustainable innovations and create their own green product designs. The program offers two themes: Eco-Engineers in Action and Nature’s Geniuses-Biomimicry in Action.

• Ages: 10–14 years old
• Schedule: Each listed camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–3:00 pm
• Price: Cost: $400 per camp; There is a $50 deduction from the total registration for siblings or any child who registers for both camps.

The 2025 Summer STEAM Camps are open to middle school students entering grades 5–9. Eco-Engineers in Action focuses on sustainable architecture and designing buildings to use less energy, conserve water, and work with nature, and this camp is currently full with a waitlist. Nature’s Geniuses-Biomimicry in Action focuses on biomimicry, using animals, plants, and natural systems to inspire sustainable innovations, and spots are still available for this camp. These STEAM Camps are made possible by the support of National Grid Ventures, Community Offshore Wind. Judy is listed as a contact for the program at [email protected].
