Chris Thile’s Acousticamp is a 4-day event that includes exclusive, private performances by Chris Thile and the Artist faculty every night, along with intimate performances by faculty and special guests. Each day features intimate breakout groups for all levels led by Chris and the Artist faculty, covering guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass, and vocals, as well as daily masterclasses by Chris and the Artist faculty. The program also includes nightly listening parties where Chris shares recordings that inspire him and opens up the floor for musical discourse, jam sessions around the property, discussions and Q&A’s, and classes tailored to each participant’s level and interests.

The program is open to music fans, acoustic players, pickers, and enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels, and interests, with workshops and activities for a wide range of musical tastes. All meals are provided from dinner on the evening of July 13 through dinner on the evening of July 16, and four nights of accommodation are included. Daily coffee service and coffee classes are offered with Madcap Coffee, and cocktail classes and evening cocktail hours are led by Abigail Gullo. The camp’s non-competitive environment is focused on fully immersing attendees in the joy of music and the beauty of the surroundings.

Chris Thile hosts and organizes Acousticamp and handpicks the Artist faculty. Chris Thile is an acclaimed Grammy Award-winning mandolinist, singer, songwriter, composer, and MacArthur Fellow recipient of the “Genius Grant.” The faculty includes Chris Eldridge, Brittany Haas, Paul Kowert, Noam Pikelny, Michael Daves, Ashley Hoyer, Maddie Witler, Blake Mills, Sarah Jarosz, Ben Folds, Meshell Ndegeocello, and Edgar Meyer. Acousticamp 2026 is the fourth annual Acousticamp.
