Music Hall Academy offers instruction in music, theater, voice, dance, aerial silks, and visual arts. The program includes lessons, classes, school residencies, youth theater productions, vacation camps, special events, Master Classes, and outdoor and community performing opportunities. Students also have access to performances alongside Broadway performers, field trips to Broadway shows, and student rush tickets for world-renowned concerts.

Music Hall Academy is run by nonprofit Tarrytown Music Hall, which is dedicated to providing professional, high-quality performing arts training. The Academy’s mission is “Inspiring the joy of the performing arts through instruction and performances.” Faculty holds degrees from schools such as The Juilliard School and The Manhattan School of Music and/or has Broadway or American Ballet credits. The Academy’s Free School Residencies, Music Lesson Scholarships, and Pay-What-You-Can Policy make it possible for children to participate in programs regardless of financial limitations, and sponsors provide support for these offerings.

Music Hall Academy is led by Kevin J Kearins, Music Hall Academy Director, Artistic Director and founder of KJK Productions. Mr. Kearins holds a Bachelors and Masters in Education/Theatre and is a member of SSDC, the professional national union of Society of Stage Directors & Choreographers. Kevin J Kearins is celebrating his 41st anniversary as Artistic Director of KJK Productions, the nonprofit arts organization he founded in 1982. ArtsWestchester announced Tarrytown Music Hall as a winner of the 2025 Arts Award at an April 9, 2025 luncheon.
