Music Hall Academy offers instruction in music, theater, dance, voice, and aerial silks through lessons, classes, masterclasses, school residencies, youth theater productions, vacation camps, and special events. Students take part in masterclasses, performances alongside Broadway performers, field trips to Broadway shows, student rush tickets for world-renowned concerts, and outdoor and community performing opportunities.

Music Hall Academy is a program of the nonprofit Tarrytown Music Hall, which is dedicated to providing professional, high-quality performing arts training in music, theater, dance, voice, and aerial silks to students of all ages. The Academy’s Free School Residencies, Music Lesson Scholarships, and Pay-What-You-Can Policy make it possible for children to participate in programs regardless of financial limitations. The Academy strives to be a community for youth and involves students in performing arts experiences year-round. Its mission is “Inspiring the joy of the performing arts through instruction and performances.”
The faculty holds degrees from schools such as The Juilliard School and The Manhattan School of Music and/or has Broadway or American Ballet credits. Music Hall Academy is led by Music Hall Academy Director Kevin J Kearins. Kevin J Kearins is celebrating his 41st anniversary as Artistic Director of KJK Productions, the nonprofit arts organization he founded in 1982. ArtsWestchester honored The Music Hall with its second Arts Award in April 2025.
