Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake

Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake offers activities such as singing, pickleball, a ropes course, dancing Israeli-style, and basketball. The camp runs fun, innovative, and inclusive programming for a maximum of 225 campers per session and provides a close-knit, personalized camp experience. It is a coed, non-denominational Jewish overnight camp guided by the principle of kol yisrael arevim zeh lazeh (all of Israel is responsible for one another).

For over 50 years, CYJ Sprout Lake has been dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment. The Young Judaea Sprout Camps are dedicated to inspiring Jewish identity, fostering a connection to the State of Israel, and strengthening the sense of Jewish peoplehood. As the summer expression of Young Judaea, the Zionist Youth Movement, the camps focus on a warm and supportive community, individual growth, lasting friendships, a deep commitment to Tikun Olam (repairing the world), and empowering campers to develop leadership skills and become active, engaged citizens of the world. Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake will operate under the AAP and NY State Department of Health guidelines. Sprout Westchester is the sister camp of Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake, and beginning Summer 2026, families can experience both Sprout Westchester and Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake under one registration.
