Happy Hours Children's Center offers age-appropriate interactive activities and hands-on learning. The program includes summer camp, field trips with chartered bus transportation, and on-site developmental evaluations.

Happy Hours Children's Center was established in 1985. The program is owner-operated and follows its own personal philosophy and curriculum, with the director and staff working together to ensure the program meets and reflects the needs of the children. It has five classrooms designed to focus on differing ages and developmental needs, with small classroom sizes and staff-to-child ratios that meet or surpass New York State standards. The setting is described as country and home-like, with warm, soft lighting and colors, cozy furniture arrangements, materials displayed for children to choose from, fenced-in play yards, and an inground wading pool. The program provides two healthy snacks daily, offers generous sibling discounts, and has school-age care with transportation to all Wappingers Falls Elementary Schools, as well as flexible scheduling with drop-in service available. It is located across the street from Fishkill Plains Elementary School.
The mission of Happy Hours Children's Center is to focus on providing each child caring, attentive, individualized care and age-appropriate interactive activities to be happy, healthy, and well-socialized. The staff includes New York State Certified Teachers and trained caring staff who are trained in CPR and First Aid. The center is licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services, regulated by the Dutchess County Department of Health, and is a member of the Child Care Council of Dutchess & Putnam, the Mid-Hudson Infant/Toddler Coalition, and the BBB. The program partners with the Dutchess County Early Intervention Program to provide on-site developmental evaluations of its children and states that it has a long-term invested interest in the community and its families, proudly serving Wappingers Falls, Hopewell Junction, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York, and surrounding areas.
