About
Child & Youth Services (CYS) Programs include full, part time or hourly child care, before and after school care, and camps. The program also offers programs for middle school and teen youth, instructional classes, workforce preparation opportunities, and sports and fitness activities. Specific summer options include the CYS School Age Services (SAS) Summer Program and the CYS Middle School/Teen (MS1) Summer Program.
• Price: Fees for various programs are competitively priced and affordable regardless of sponsor's income.
CYS provides programs and services for children of eligible military and civilian families. Parent Central Services (the CYS office) is a one-stop shop for access to all programs, and CYS Services are closed on RDO Fridays. The CYS Coordinator is Kristen Pellaton. Today’s CYS programs have been described by Presidential acclaim as a “model for the nation,” and child care is DoD-certified and nationally accredited. DFMWR integrates and delivers Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs and services enabling readiness and resilience for a globally-responsive Army. CYS also states accountability to safeguard the Army's resources through efficient management oversight, good fiscal stewardship, reducing waste, and protecting assets of programs and services to Soldiers and their Families.
