Equestrian services at this site have been provided for nearly 100 years, with the facility originally built and opened in the 1920s and completely redeveloped in 2012. The New York Equestrian Center states that it is the only location on the South Shore of Nassau County where the community and tourists can enjoy horses in a recreational, therapeutic, or competitive way in a family environment. The After School Program is also used by Boy and Girl Scout troops and Police Athletic Leagues. Each participant must have both a Registration Form and a Liability Form completed prior to the first day of camp.
