Elmwood Day Camp is a summer day camp that runs a comprehensive activity program for children. As a summer day camp for 3 year olds to 5 year olds, up to the 6th grade, Elmwood offers lots of outdoor kids activities with a caring staff. The camp is described as the ideal size day camp for children, with an intentionally designed facility that allows for children to be known in small groups.

Elmwood Day Camp uses small groups so that campers are connected to each other and their counselors. The directors, Hillari and Gregg, are directly involved with campers, staff, and all aspects of camp. The camp’s mission is for each child to discover, celebrate and be who they are supposed to be, and it states that consistent, caring relationships and a comprehensive activity program are essential to achieve this mission. Elmwood Day Camp provides door-to-door transportation from Westchester County, Manhattan and Riverdale, with EWD buses and vans picking up in Ardsley, Armonk, Briarcliff, Bronxville, Chappaqua, Dobbs Ferry, Eastchester, Elmsford, Hartsdale, Hastings, Hawthorne, Irvington, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Mount Kisco, New Rochelle, Ossining, Pleasantville, Purchase, Rye, Rye Brook, Scarsdale, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, Valhalla, West Harrison and White Plains.
