Founded in 1981, Kiddie Academy is a family-owned brand founded by George and Pauline Miller, and the Miller family continues to own and operate Kiddie Academy. The program uses a proprietary Life Essentials curriculum that is crafted to focus on six key outcomes that prepare children for life, with a focus on benchmarking measures of excellence and proactively securing accreditation. The program states a mission to nurture, educate, and inspire children for the future.

All Kiddie Academy educators must meet or exceed the state requirements for child care providers, including background clearance, education qualifications, and ongoing professional development. The program uses secure, restricted entries, authorized pick-up procedures, background checks for all staff, and cleaning protocols, and employees are trained on health and safety protocols. Health Essentials guidelines are in place to uphold the highest level of health precautions and cleanliness.

The CampVentures summer camp program is described as turning an ordinary summer into a summer of exciting exploration, with limited Preschool and PreK spots available. The program describes itself as a community where lifelong friendships and lasting memories are formed.

Parent testimonials mention appreciation for the process, staff, and curriculum, as well as communication and detailed daily reports with multiple pictures each day. Parents also describe teachers and directors as caring and communicative, note that staff challenge children to be better students and “better little humans,” and say their children have a good routine with a variety of activities.
