Dianna Durkin Dance Studio offers Dance With Me for ages 18 months to 3 years, Tutu Tots for ages 3 to 5, Tiny Tappers 1 & 2 for ages 3 to 5, and Mini Ballet, Mini Tap, Mini Jazz, Mini Hip Hop, and Mini Acrobatics for ages 5 to 7. It also offers Ballet 1, Tap 1, Jazz 1, and Hip Hop 1, recommended for ages 8 to 9.

Programs

• Dance With Me — Ages 18 mo – 3 yrs · A magical bonding experience for toddlers and their grown-ups. Explore creative movement, lively songs, and playful dance games in a joyful, supportive setting.
• Tutu Tots — Ages 3–5 · A delightful introduction to ballet designed just for preschoolers. Young dancers explore graceful movement and storytelling in preparation for their big recital performance!
• Tiny Tappers 1 & 2 — Ages 3–5 · Tap and ballet basics taught through fun games and creative combinations. This class builds coordination, musicality, and confidence while preparing dancers for an exciting recital performance.
• Mini Ballet — Ages 5-7 · An engaging introduction to classical ballet and lyrical expression. Mini Ballet dancers will build strength, flexibility, and creativity!
• Mini Tap — Ages 5-7 · Young dancers explore rhythm and musicality through tap dance. They develop timing, coordination, and confidence while developing essential performance skills!
• Mini Jazz — Ages 5-7 · A dynamic and energetic introduction to jazz. Students develop flexibility, strength, and stage presence while learning upbeat choreography and movements.
• Mini Hip Hop — Ages 5-7 · Full of personality and fun, Mini Hip Hop introduces dancers to the basics of hiphop dance in a positive, confidence-building environment!
• Mini Acrobatics — Ages 5-7 · A supportive class where students develop strength, balance, and flexibility through beginner acrobatic skills like handstands, cartwheels, and forward rolls.
• Ballet 1 — Recommended Ages 8–9
• Tap 1 — Recommended Ages 8–9
• Jazz 1 — Recommended Ages 8–9
• Hip Hop 1 — Recommended Ages 8–9

About the provider

Dianna Durkin Dance Studio has been serving the Green/Akron area since 1960. Its mission is to be a family-friendly place to dance, grow, and belong, and it focuses on building the confidence of every dancer who walks through its doors. The studio is a member of the National Dance Education Organization, Youth Protection Advocated in Dance, Dance Masters of Ohio, and Dance Masters of America.

The 2025-2026 Dance Season begins after Labor Day and ends with their Recital. One class does not perform in the annual recital.
