About the provider

The organization began in 1999. Its mission is based on the belief that quality of life and the health of the environment are interdependent and that understanding nature improves the lives of individuals. It also provides educational opportunities and interactive experiences that inspire people to be good stewards of their communities and the world.

Free on-site parking. Handicapped parking is available near the Visitor Center. Most areas are wheelchair/walker/stroller accessible except the hiking trails. Pets are allowed on the grounds except the butterfly house or Raptor Hallow Sanctuary and must be on a leash. Closed on New Year's Day, Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
