Lake Anna YMCA Summer Day Camp

Lake Anna YMCA Summer Day Camp includes activities such as swimming, using a rock wall, outdoor play, sports, and arts and crafts. The program also includes visits to museums, animal parks, science centers, the library, and metro parks. Children are divided into groups based on their age during camp activities.

• Schedule: Before Care 7:00 am–9:00 am, camp 9:00 am–4:00 pm, and After Care 4:00 pm–6:00 pm, from June 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026

Before Care and After Care are provided at no extra charge for children attending day camp, and each child needs to arrive by 9:00 am each day. The Lake Anna YMCA Day Camp is the area’s only summer camp accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and is described as Barberton's BEST Day Camp. Many Y child care programs partner with churches, and the Akron Area YMCA has served individuals and families since 1870. The Akron Area YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Families are asked to send a camp T-shirt, closed toe shoes such as tennis shoes, a packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, backpack, swimsuit, and towel with each child.
