Discovery Riders

Discovery Riders offers equine-assisted riding, equine-assisted activities, and therapeutic riding with specially trained horses. The program includes social-emotional learning and opportunities for participating in Special Olympics. Discovery Riders also runs Intermediate Horse Camp and Advanced Horse Camp as part of its activities.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Intermediate and Advanced Horse Camps run Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on select summer weeks

Discovery Riders states its mission as “Changing lives one ride at a time.” The program has over 20 years of experience. It is dedicated to providing services to individuals with any disability or need from the ages of four and up and welcomes riders of all ages and abilities. Therapy horses are carefully selected and trained for equine-assisted activities. Discovery Riders also hosts events such as Blues at the Barn and other fundraising galas and community workshops throughout the year.
