Camp Inquire

Camp Inquire offers Master Builders, Survivor, Ready…Set…MarbleRun!, and Outer Space. Students can also choose Science and Green Thumb for Grades 2-3 only, Inventors Workshop and Ink & Imagination for Grades 4-6 only, Around the World in Weeks 1-3, Painting Palooza in Weeks 3 and 4, Explore Art! in Week 1, and Endangered Animals in Clay in Week 2. Camp Inquire runs each day from 9 AM to 3 PM, students are expected to pack lunch each day, and the camp fee is $135.

Programs

• Master Builders — All Grade Levels & Weeks · Explore all things Lego; participate in challenges, build freely, and learn helpful building techniques.
• Survivor — All Grade Levels & Weeks · Students compete in individual and team challenges, crack puzzles, and hunt for hidden immunity idols.
• Ready…Set…MarbleRun! — All Grade Levels & Weeks · Hands-on engineering class designing and building marble tracks using cardboard, duct tape, marbles, craft sticks, straws, and glue guns.
• Outer Space — All Grade Levels & Weeks · Explore planets, stars, astronauts, rockets, and interactive science activities about space.
• Science — Grades 2-3 only (6/8-6/12 & 7/20-7/24) · Explore science experiments, build contraptions, and program robots to compete in fun challenges.
• Green Thumb — Grades 2-3 only (6/8-6/12 & 7/20-7/24) · Gardening and nature activities including planting seeds, caring for a garden, and learning how plants grow.
• Inventors Workshop — Grades 4-6 only (6/22-6/26 & 7/6-7/10) · Campers design, build, test, and improve their own inventions using everyday materials.
• Around the World — Week 1 -3 only (6/8-6/12, 6/22-6/26 & 7/6-7/10) · Travel-themed class to learn new languages, try new foods, and learn about other cultures.
• Painting Palooza — Weeks 3 & 4 only (7/6-7/10 & 7/20-7/24) · Hands-on painting workshop using watercolor blending, impasto texturing, and oil pastel resist.
• Ink & Imagination — Grades 4-6 only (6/22-6/26 & 7/6-7/10) · Hands-on writing class where students create characters, build worlds, craft stories, and finish a book.
• Explore Art! — Weeks 1 Only (6/8-6/12) · Campers experiment with pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic paint, and oil pastel.
• Endangered Animals in Clay — Week 2 Only (6/22-6/26) · Campers learn about endangered animals and use air-dry clay to sculpt a physical model.

About the provider

Camp Inquire began in the summer of 1981 as a two-week camp for students in grades first through eighth with roughly 100 students. Today, the camp attracts more than 500 students from more than 20 different school districts. Its mission is to provide educational options that match enrichment services to the specialized needs or interests of identified students.

If Camp Inquire cancels camp for the summer, a full refund will be issued. Classes may be specific to certain grades and only available on specific weeks. If a chosen class is full, students may choose from remaining classes and may be added to a wait-list.
