Scioto Valley YMCA Youth Programs offers Youth Sports, swim lessons, Gymnastics Lessons, After School Care, and Livestrong @ the Y. Gymnastics lessons are open to children of all ages and include beginner classes and programs that prepare a child to compete at local, regional, or national tournaments. After-school child care is offered at Chillicothe Primary School, Southeastern, and the Pike County YMCA, and Livestrong @ the Y is a 12-week program for cancer survivors that includes strengthening, group emotional support, and learning.

The Scioto Valley YMCA has been serving families for over 165 years. Its mission is to bring people from all backgrounds, experiences, hopes, and dreams together in an environment that supports the growth of the entire community. The organization says it has been a place where Ross and Pike County families come together, with branches in Chillicothe and Waverly.

Financial assistance is available for memberships and programs. No one is turned away because of an inability to pay.
