Activities Beyond the Classroom (ABC)

Activities Beyond the Classroom (ABC) offers summer camps and programs with art, dance, music, sewing, fashion design, and athletic activities for children ages 3 to 18. Camps include the Art Academy of Cincinnati Summer Camps, The Art Spark: A Creative Classroom Summer Camps, Wyoming Fine Arts Center Summer Camps, Stylish LeNese Sewing and Fashion Design Summer Camp, Fitton Center for Creative Arts, Dance Factory Fitness, Emerge Dance Academy Summer Camps, Mutual Dance Theatre, School of Rock Summer Camps, and West Chester Academy. Schedules include Monday-Friday options, plus some AM, PM, full-day, and half-day camps.

• Art Academy of Cincinnati Summer Camps — 13-18 · Mon-Fri; full day, AM camps, or PM camps · Strengthen portfolios, prepare for college, or express creative voice in an inclusive environment. Registration now open.
• The Art Spark: A Creative Classroom Summer Camps — 3-12 · Mon-Fri; full day, AM camps, or PM camps · Morning camps focus on large-scale teamwork projects; afternoon camps focus more on individual projects and a gallery setting. Registration now open.
• Wyoming Fine Arts Center Summer Camps — 3-15 · Mon-Fri; full day, AM camps, or PM camps · Art-themed experiences for kids of all ages and skill levels, including sculpture, musical theater, crochet, and digital animation. Registration now open.
• Stylish LeNese Sewing and Fashion Design Summer Camp — 10-16 · Mon-Thursday, 1:00-5:00pm · An exciting sewing, sketching and crafting camp with no prior experience needed and all supplies included. Registration now open.
• Fitton Center for Creative Arts — 5-16 · Mon-Fri; times vary by camp between 9:30am-5:00pm · Art-themed camps for young artists, writers, and performers. Each camp allows students to spend quality time learning and creating with professional artists and teachers.
• Dance Factory Fitness — 5-12 · Mon-Fri, 11:00am-2:00pm · Five weeks of dance camps with KPop and Zombies themes. Camps include choreography, games, and performances. Registration now open.
• Emerge Dance Academy Summer Camps — 4-11 · Mon-Fri; AM camps or PM camps · Camps incorporate dance, crafts, games, fashion skills, and more, and are designed to engage children’s interest and learning. Join us this summer for some fun.
• Mutual Dance Theatre — 3-10 · Mon-Fri; full day or half day Mon-Thurs · Choose from full-day camp for ages 5-10 or half day for ages 3-6. Children learn dance, make props and scenery, and prepare for a Friday afternoon performance for parents. Registration now open.
• School of Rock Summer Camps — 7-18 · Mon-Fri, 10:00am-3:00pm · Students learn music, build confidence, create friendships, and have fun. Registration now open.
• West Chester Academy — 4-12 · Mon-Fri; full day or AM camps

About the provider

Since 2004, ABC has worked to provide enrichment activities for students in the Cincinnati area. ABC works with nearly 100 partners to deliver extracurricular programming to Cincinnati Public Schools students at no cost to children or their families. ABC provides over 200 programs and activities supporting over 50 Cincinnati Public Schools and impacting over 15,000 students every year. ABC administers well over 100 donor-directed funds for programs benefiting Cincinnati students.
