Cincinnati Young People's Theatre

Cincinnati Young People's Theatre is a summer theatre program for teenagers. It is conducted each summer by Cincinnati Landmark Productions as its summer theatre for teenagers. Cincinnati Landmark Productions describes Cincinnati Young People's Theatre as its premier teen theatre experience.

Cincinnati Landmark Productions began as Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre, a theatre for teenagers, in 1982. By 1991, Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre became the producer for the summer stock Showboat Majestic. In May 2002, Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre purchased the Covedale Cinema to convert it into a performing arts center, and by 2006 it was re-organized as Cincinnati Landmark Productions, which was classified as a 501c(3) nonprofit. The leadership team for Cincinnati Landmark Productions includes Managing Director Rodger Pille, Business Manager / Producer Jennifer Perrino, Artistic Director / Founder Tim Perrino, and Box Office Manager / Technical Director Denny Reed. Cincinnati Landmark Productions states that Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre is part of its work to develop young artists through opportunity, training and excellence in production, and that it acts as an advocate for community revitalization and brings cultural benefits to the communities in which its venues reside.
