Cincinnati Zoo Camps

Cincinnati Zoo Camps include hikes around the Zoo, up-close animal encounters, games, crafts, and other interactive activities. Campers take part in observations of animals both in the Zoo and in the classroom and create enrichment items for a few Zoo residents to enjoy. Some camp sessions also feature visits from animal ambassadors.

• Ages: 4–13 years old

The Cincinnati Zoo has been an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) since 1978. All Zoo Camps are age-appropriate, and all Zoo Camps are guaranteed to be a wild time. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for Zoo Camps. Enrichment Expedition is a one-day camp for 4 year olds through 8th grade and explores how human and non-human animals use enrichment to stay healthy and get along with others. Spring Break Camp is available for 1st–8th grade and includes hikes, games, up-close animal encounters, and wild fun all week long, and all campers in Spring Break Camp receive a Spring Break Camp t-shirt. Summer Camp offers jam-packed weeks of fun and adventure and includes activities, hikes around the Zoo, up-close animal encounters, games, crafts, and more; Half Day Summer Camps are available for 4-year-olds through Kindergarten and 1st–2nd grade, and Full Day Summer Camps are available for 1st–8th grade, with all campers receiving a Summer Camp t-shirt. Winter Camp is for 4 year olds through 8th graders, is described as the perfect activity for 4 year olds through 8th graders cooped up during winter break, and includes hikes around the Zoo, visits from animal ambassadors, crafts, and more, with After Care available for Winter Camp. Zoo Camp snacks are sponsored by 39Forward.
