About the provider
Friars Club says it was established in Over-the-Rhine in 1860 and has served Cincinnati communities for over 165 years. Its mission is to develop valuable life skills in youth through sports, education, and leadership programming to enrich their lives and the community. The club says it serves Cincinnati’s underserved children through organized sports, education, nutrition, and fitness, and that it partners with local community schools to provide tutoring, mentorship, athletic opportunities, and leadership programs. It also says high school students volunteer as coaches and mentors, and Leadership Academy teens coach Junior Dribblers and visit schools all over Cincinnati.
