About
Great Parks Day Camps offers activities that include adventure, farming, fishing, horsemanship, and nature-based discovery. Campers can also take part in archery, bicycling, boating, camping, disc golf, dog park visits, golf, horseback riding, mountain biking, paddling, picnicking, playground time, sand volleyball, soccer, softball, trail use, ultimate frisbee, and winter activities.
The program follows the mission of Great Parks to encourage discovering the beauty of nature through exploration, hands-on activities, educational workshops, volunteerism, and outdoor adventures. Great Parks notes that a valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks. The program is connected to community events such as The Great Picnic, a family-friendly community picnic and festival held in partnership with Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic Month.
